Branding
Nevada Talks and Paul Struebing were two clients looking for branded logos and social cover photos. Nevada Talks helps progressive organizations understand the principles of relational organizing and gain the skills to apply them in their own organizing programs. Paul Struebing is running for Alderman of Chicago’s 41st Ward. He believes in the people he serves and wants to improve their neighborhoods.
Role:
Both clients needed quick logos designed within 24-48 hours. I provided both clients with a full-color logo along with a black version and a white version. I also provided the clients with social media cover photos, profile icons, business cards, and stationery kits that fit their brands.

Nevada Talks
Nevada Talks needed a more ambiguous logo style-wise and color-wise. They didn’t want their colors or style to lean too much on the Democratic or Republican side. I came up with a color scheme that didn’t feel too political, but married the blue and red for a deep shade of purple and used the orange as a complimentary color. I created their logo using a simple thick and thin font with a speech bubble-styled icon above the word mark to highlight the “Talks” portion of their brand name.
Paul Struebing
Paul Struebing needed his logo to represent the Chicago flag and state who he is and what he is running for. Paul’s logo uses a big bold font for his name and a simpler font for his title. His logo utilizes the red stars and the blue color from the Chicago flag.
