Nirvana: The Punk Icons

Nirvana: The punk Icons is an exhibit rebrand and promotion for the Frist Art Museum in Nashville, TN.

Role:
This is an edgy but clean rebrand that captures the originality and essence of the amazing rock band, Nirvana. This project was to rebrand an existing exhibit at the MoPop Museum of Pop Culture for the Frist Art Museum. Nirvana is known for their unique, grungy music style and huge cultural influence. I designed each element of this project to be cohesive and capture the look and feel of Nirvana. For the exhibit, I created a brand guidelines booklet that showcases a mood board, color palette, typography, and visual identity. To promote the exhibit, I designed signage, advertising posters, tickets, shopping bags, and hangtags for products sold in the gift shop. I also created five way-finding decision-making points to guide the visitors through the exhibit.
